I have a few books that are from a completely different age, most of my books are from the 2000s onwards but a few of them are from during the Cold War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Particularly, I have an atlas which was in the very least written and published before the collapse of the Soviet Union. I did not really give it much thought but I started realising it\u2019s age when not only Russia\u2019s but most of the worlds borders are now wrong and the names of all of the places in Asia are colonial European names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another book is a sort of encyclopaedia on ow different advancements of the Morden era have come upon us. This was also written during the time of the cold war. It was about the Morden technologies of that time which are now just antiquated relics of the past. I realised it\u2019s age when I stumbled upon a picture of the New York trade centre\u2019s twin towers and the caption to the image did not refer to it as the \u201cill fated towers\u201d but just as a background to the Statue of Liberty. I assume this book was written edited, published and maybe even printed before the attack on the towers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
